02. Pick-up (available from 9 AM)

Start this private experience in Quito by getting picked up from our wonderful Old Town Quito Suites. You can also request for pickup from any other hotels or landmarks(**) if you won't be staying with us by the day/time you want the tour to get started.

03. A terrific ride at Quito's Cable Car(4) (0.5 hours)

Among elegible stops, Cable Car in Quito is highly recommended - and better to start here early when weather's best. 20 minutes after pickup, we'll meet Cable Car, rising up high to Cruz Loma Refuge at almost 4000 meters above sea level, on Rucu Pichincha Volcano slopes, offering breathtaking skylines of the New Town beneath.

Among elegible stops, Cable Car in Quito is highly recommended - and better to start here early when weather's best.

Rucu Pichincha Volcano not only offers stunning views, but also great hiking, horseback riding (weekends), and even mountain climbing opportunities. Would you dare to explore to the depths of its trails? Or would you rather stay by the slopes, enjoying spectacular vistas with a hot cup of coffee at the Refuge? It is up to you!

Oswaldo Guayasamín's exquisite artistry is a depiction of social realism in Ecuador, more accurately on indigenous people and their roots. All of his artwork remains in a collection at Fundación Casa Guayasamín, north-east Quito, and you should not miss this chance to get insight into the Ecuadorian culture.

06. Back in New Town and the Carolina Park(4) (0.5 hours)

At Quito's New Town heart lays the lush Carolina Park, surrounded by modern arquitecture. Quito's Botanical Garden is settled inside its greenery, standing out as an oasis of biodiversity. Not far from here, Vivarium Reptile Exhibition awaits as a kid-friendly alternative, and you get to visit either or both!

07. Discovering the Artisan's Market(4) (0.5-1 hours)

The Quito Craft Market is a paradise of colors and tradition. Among its aisles, you will find Andean textiles, silver jewelry, hats, paintings, and unique handmade souvenirs. It is an unmissable place to experience Ecuadorian culture and take a little piece of it home with you.

Settled at the gates to the Old Town, Basilica del Voto Nacional stands out as one of the greatest neogothic-style constructions in Latin America, and you'll get a chance to witness it by yourself! Climb its towers for a more immersive experience and gaze at every detail in the heights.

09. The Virgin Mary Statue on top of Old Town(4) (0.5 hours)

Located on top of Panecillo Hill and alongside to Incan era vestiges is erected the Winged Statue of Virgin Mary. The statue is not only the most important viewpoint in Quito, but also a world-wide known signature landmark, representative of Ecuador's capital, and you'll get to understand first-handedly its cultural significance.

Nevertheless, not all places can be included in the same half-day tour for the duration of the trip is 6 hours, and must be previously considered. A standard tour goes from 3 landmarks for a regular stay expected at each, up to 4 landmarks for a quick stay at each. Check with us while booking or with your guide on the go.
